Nick Rosen

Nick RosenI produce a documentary every couple of years when I come across a subject I like, although the last three years I have been writing books, the most recent being Off the Grid: Inside the Movement for More Space, Less Government, and True Independence in Modern America (Penguin, New York, Aug 2010).

Current work:
I am making a crowd-sourced series about this subject and will shortly be going into production

I am also near completion on a 70 minute feature documentary titled  Inside the world of China’s top Entrepreneurs, which is showing sneak peeks on BBC World the last four fridays in July, launching 8th of July.

Previous work:
My last broadcast documentary was Britain’s Commuter Nightmare (Dispatches Channel 4).  I conceived and produced this highly-praised investigation presented by Bob Kiley, former chief of Transport for London.

In 2005 I produced The Battle for Ground Zero a One hour for Channel 4 about the fight between Larry Silverstein and Daniel Liebeskind.

I won an Gold at the New York Film and TV Festival for Brezhnev’s Daughter a one hour film about Galina Brezhnev in 1995.

I hope that gives you a flavour of my work.
